Hey all! So technically this is my first submission in 2017 ;w;.... ~~such a disappointment~~
I finished this last week but it's taken me this long to finally finish this speedpaint ;-;... it's uploading as we speak, so hopefully it'll be done by late tonight or early tmw morning and i'll make sure to update this submission with the video

I have to say though.. I was looking through my gallery and I cringe so much at how bad my work used to be :') I feel like I've improved, but idk, do you guys think i have? i'm gonna ask for critques because I poured my heart and soul into this (i mean i do with all my work) but this one.. is very special ;v;

so this is basically meant to represent.. well.. F*ck school basically na im jkin, but seriously this piece is meant to say alot of things, and i'll let you guess what some of those things are

mainly though it's saying that schools sometimes held me back to my full potential from my art life, and since i'm finally graduated, and applying to art courses for university, i can start finally concentrating on that

also having four months holidays is a big help

I look forward to posting more when I can and I hope y'all haven't forgotten about me ;v; baiii~

Looking at colour, it has clear contrast from the character, background and other objects. Clever using a white outline to show the dominant part of the piece.

The feeling of the artwork is clearly personal celebration, but also freedom, and kind of rebellious with the rock fingers and as you describe by saying "**** school" jokingly, haha. #relatable

Clear improvement in style from previous deviations (and throughout your schooling assignments <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="

(Wink)"/> ). although the strokes of white in the background and past some of the character might be too thick of stroke,or there might be too much of them, not quite sure. otherwise it is so good.

The multi-coloured stroke is an excellent idea to make the audience follow the line while observing the while character. What I mean is you start with the pen and the character's facial features and then make focus towards the hair, body,and so forth until you reach the end of the stroke. If the end of the stroke was closer to the legs and feet it would be more impacted, show the red and white socks with detailed boots some love, they must have love from the stoke. X,,D Idk y i said that, sorry.

Amazing Work!! Hope you don't think the rating is too harsh, cause I want to see you improve. Whether its small or large improvement from newer deviations, continue doing your best and you'll do great.
